Davis Beach
Davis Beach
Davis Beach is a great place to bring guests, family and friends. Enjoy time with the family frolicking in the sand, swimming in the lake, fishing, docking your boat and more at pristine Davis Beach!!
Davis Beach is one of the three sandy beaches at the Apple Valley developed in 1974 and is loaded with amenities. It includes a designated swimming area that is approximately 200 feet long, a common area with approximately 700 feet of lake, a picnic shelter, a sand volleyball court, common dock areas, and a playground!!
The picnic shelter is the perfect shady spot sitting on top of the hill from the beach and includes a bathhouse for swimmers to rinse off and change. Picnic tables and barbecue grills surround it and can be reserved for parties by calling the Apple Valley Property Owners Association (AVPOA) office at 740-397-3311.
Just bring a volleyball and a handful of people to have a ball playing sand volleyball. The court is available on a first come, first serve basis.
On the right side of Davis Beach sits three common docks for temporary docking of property owners' boats. The pier is equipped with docks attached and they are available for property owner usage for temporary docking (less than 24 hours).
For the fishermen in the family, there are docks located on the right and left side of the beach. They will enjoy a boardwalk style fishing pier that the beach has to offer.
Younger children are sure to love the playground equipped with two sets of swings, a slide and a see-saw on the beach.
Davis Beach provides an amazing swimming area. Swim at your own risk; however, Davis Beach does have a lifeguard on duty some of the time.
Bring the WHOLE family; pets are welcome in the designated pet area which is slightly left of the beach.
DIRECTIONS: From the front entrance to Apple Valley, go left on Apple Valley Drive. Continue for approximately two miles. Turn right on Ridgeway Drive, you'll see signs for Davis Beach approximately 3/8ths of a mile straight ahead.
